White with... grape

Now this White with 1 was really a challenge... I have a long history of avoiding anything purple in my scrapping.  I think the only time I use purple is for challenge layouts...

What I did:
* Dug deep into my haberdashery stash and found a piece of vibrant coloured purple felt.
* Found a few tiny scraps of purple paper in my scrap stash (don't have much because I don't use it!) and made some layered lollipop flowers:

* Made a photo mat from the felt using a chipboard page as a template.
* Lots of machine stitching.  My sewing machine was not happy with the felt, but together we persevered.
* Edited my photograph to b/w so it wouldn't clash with purple.
* Affixed photograph with staples.
* Sought out a tutorial on how to tie the perfect bow!  Mine always look a bit wonky...  I found hundreds of tutorials online about how to tie a bow using a fork ~ I followed a basic tutorial at Eskimimi Makes.

I am really happy with the result - not at all bad for a colour I avoid!

Materials:
Maya Road Scroll Page chipboard (used as a template)
Petaloo Mulberry Street embossed daisies
Paper scraps - Three Bugs in a Rug Rhapsody and BoBunny Jazmyne
Creatives craft ribbon
Celebrations felt - purple
Provocraft Alphabitties - Girls Are Weird stickers
