That was fun

Another layout for our January 2016 day trip album:

I took inspiration from these challenges:

* Creative Embellishments ~ Inspiration picture + favourite technique.  I chose a forest theme, and used some machine stitching on my layout, my favourite technique. I used a CE flair from the butterfly set:

* Off the Rails ~ Monochromatic.  Lots of green!
* Scrappy Friends ~ This or That.  I chose a butterfly.

Materials
Becky Higgins Project Life - Jade Edition patterned papers
My Mind's Eye Jubilee - Mint Julep - Journey journal cards
Manor House Sprinkles - Lime Green blossoms
Maya Road Trinkets - Textured Corduroy blossoms
Creative Embellishments Butterfly flair

Halloween Parade

Joining in at 123 Challenge Blog this month with this layout:

Lilac - I don't have much in the way of lilac supplies because it's not a colour I am naturally drawn to, but I found a napkin that would do the trick and mod-podged it as my background.
Doodling - This was the easiest bit for me, because I love to doodle borders and edges.  I kept it simple to balance out the busy background pattern.
Drama - I used the word in my journalling.

Materials
Paper napkin
White tissue paper
Bo Bunny Double Dot - Violet cardstock
My Memories butterfly punch
Crayola Mauve watercolour pencil
Crayola Yellow watercolour pencil
Flourish With A Bling Chloe - Red pearls
Prima Essentials flowers (orange)
Green Tara Petals - Red paper flowers

Scrapping Outback

Joining in at Scrapping Outback for the June edition of White with a Twist... this is the picture prompt:

I used all of the colours, and made this layout:

I used some chipboard pieces from the WOW Fun Multi Word Pack; I left them raw to add the grey element to my colour palette, and because they look great just the way they are:

Pixels and Paper - June DT reveal

This is the inspiration picture for Pixels and Paper this month:

I was immediately drawn to those beautiful rustic doors, and the wonderful rich browns.  I also loved the pops of green and orange, and used these colours in my pocket scrap page:

The extra criteria this month is DISTRESSING.  I distressed the edges of the patterned paper squares, added some torn corrugated card, and inked the edges of the papers and journalling strips with distress ink.

I'm sharing my page at Simon Says Wednesday for the Anything Goes challenge.

Materials
Simple Stories Sn@p! Insta-page insert
Echo Park Victoria Gardens - Blooming Blossoms patterned paper
Bazzill Basics Pinecone cardstock
Tim Holtz Ranger - Bundled Sage distress ink
Twine
