Little Bay

I love the ocean, and I am always drawn to small, secluded beaches when I travel.  As a result, I have hundreds of beach photographs in my collection, and quite a few bags of shells, sea glass and tiny pieces of driftwood.  These kind of little keepsakes are more meaningful to me than fancy store-bought souvenirs.

I really enjoyed putting this layout together and it brought back memories of a very special winter holiday break in 2014:

Materials
Cre8tiv Stone & Wood patterned papers
Kaisercraft Stargazer - Astronomy patterned paper (quote)
Words or Whatever Messy Mini Rectangle chipboard frame
Gold sequins
White cotton thread

My layout was inspired by:

More Than Words ~ Beach and Seashells

I used some real shells (that I collected myself) on the layout:

Scrap Challenge Yourself ~ Take me to the Ocean
Usually I'm the one taking all the photographs, but this time - there I am in the photos!

* Unstampabelles ~ Fancy frame or border
I chose a fun 'scribble' style chipboard frame for my coloured photograph, and I added a stitched border around the outside of my layout.

Thank you for visiting my blog!
