Sweet Summer Days

Thank you KRAFT PLUS CHALLENGE for inviting me to be a guest designer this month!  It's one of my favourite challenge blogs, with talented and inspiring creative team, and always-thought-provoking challenge prompts.

Here's the April challenge:

... and hoping that I've risen to the challenge, here's my take:

Materials

Corrugated cardboard
White gesso
Denim fabric
Cocoa Vanilla Hello Sunshine - Summer Hits journal card
Cocoa Vanilla Make a Wish - Hip Hooray patterned paper
Carl Mini Daisy punch
Collections Elements chipboard flowers
Prima Esprit - Blue satin flowers
Kaisercraft Silver rhinestones
Kraft spotted paper tape
Paper clip

My recipe choices:
* Something old - I used corrugated cardboard from a packing box as my base, with old flowers and chippies from my stash.
* Something new - I cracked open a new jar of gesso for this layout, and a new pack of rhinestones to add a touch of bling.
* Something borrowed - I "borrowed" some denim offcuts from my habby stash.
* Something blue - Lots of blue! It's one of my favourite colours.
