SSQ Vintage Vibe

Soul Scrap Quest is a fun, special opt-in challenge that happens a few times each year... and it's time again!  The current theme is VINTAGE.

First, the mandatory criteria:
* Use a SEPIA or BLACK & WHITE photograph.  I chose some travel photographs of a heritage listed building, which I took in Port Douglas last year.
Decorate the TAG.  I used the tag in a very traditional way - to add some journalling/basic info about the photographs. I trimmed it down in length and used the off-cut piece to make my diecut title.

I used everything supplied in the package of surprise contents:

* Paper doll caused me initial panic... What do I do with this?? This item determined my photograph selection. Mounted with foam to give dimension, and positioned in front of the photograph. (I originally intended to add them to the tag, but having the figures in the foreground worked better for me.)
* Mini flag used as date marker, tucked behind second photograph
* Banner cut in half, positioned at end of ribbon
* Gold doily folded to make a corner pocket for my tag
* Black oval frame painted gold to match the doily
* Wooden camera used unadorned, positioned over on the right
* Wooden flourish used unadorned, positioned on tag
* Pocket card cut up; main piece used as photo mat and subtitle, remainder used on the tag
* Gold sequins randomly scattered artfully placed!

I always find it a challenge to 'load up' my pages so I made a double layout to accommodate all the bits and bobs. {Click to enlarge}
