Stuck?! twice

This layout was inspired by the February 1st sketch at Stuck?! Sketches:

Webster's Pages Hello World - Little Moments patterned paper
Bo Bunny Lil Monster - Tough Guy patterned paper
Simple Stories Daily Grind - Journalling Cards Elements card
Basic Grey Sublime - Raspberry patterned paper
Vintage book paper
Polka dot washi tape
Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden - Entrance patterned paper
Alphabet cutting dies (unknown brand)

I substituted a camera for the large star element, and used a single photograph instead of three.

I'm sharing this layout at Simon Says Monday for the Use Your Favourite Tool theme... once again using my guillotine to cut the patterned paper pieces, and my scissors to fussy cut the camera.  Also used my sewing machine for this one... I also LOVE adding stitching to my layouts.

I'd also like to share at Word Art Wednesday, for the Anything Goes theme.

This layout was inspired by the February 15th sketch at Stuck?! Sketches:

Prima product packaging
Crate Paper Crush - Bands Tags & Frames die cut shape
Creative Imaginations Winter Garden - Winter Vine patterned paper
May Arts 1.5" Parrot Green net ribbon
Anerican Crafts Monograms - Sarah Script White alphabet stickers
Simple Stories Summer Vibes - Yellow Wood patterned paper
Baker's twine

I'm sharing this layout at SanDee & amelie's Steampunk Challenge.  I hope it's okay ~ the layout is very clean and simple, but the theme is about a steampunk find by my Doctor Who-obsessed daughter.  I raided my "green scraps" ziplock bag for this layout, and I was pretty stoked to use up lots of different "forgotten stash" bits and pieces... stash-busting SCORE!

Thank you for visiting my blog!

  1. I love your layout. I love the design with the camera and the colors are beautiful together. Thanks for joining us on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

  2. Both layouts are fantastic. Love the mystery of the bird photo and the simplicity of the design that makes your photo the star, and the colors are fantastic with the photo in your second page. Love that mesh! So happy you played with us at Stuck?! Sketches!

  3. Such great pages, love your layering and colour combos! So awesome that you got to use up some stash too! Thanks for joining us at Stuck?! Sketches!

  4. Thanks for joining us at Stuck?! Sketches! with two entries. I like the camera substituted for the large element on the first sketch and your photo of birds against a threatening sky. Clever work with the Dalek too. Such a fun page.

  5. I love your Dalek page! I stand with your daughter on that Dr. Who obsession, and it is steampunk in my world!! Thanks for sharing it with us at SASPC! hugs, Maura

  6. Wow, awesome pages!! Love both of them so much! That photo in the first one is so beautiful and I adore the colors! Thank you so much for joining in the fun at Stuck?! Sketches!

  7. Really delicate layout and I like the white areas, I am not so familiar with Dr. Who but have seen a trailer and it looked exciting. Thank you for showing us it on SanDee&amelie's Steampunk Challenges. Hugs

    1. Thank you for your kind comment. I'm not so familiar with Dr Who either, but my daughter is a big fan!

  8. That dalek is super cute and definitely has to be shared with us at SanDee&amelie's steampunk challenges! lol

  9. Wonderful lay-out. Thank you for joining our Challenge a few weeks ago at Word Art Wednesday. We have a week left on our current Challenge and I hope you join us again. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word in Psalm 84:11 and it says, "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." Have a blessed week.
