Point Cartwright

It's taken me a while to embrace pocket scrapping, but I'm getting there... every now and then I get a little burst of energy and do a few more pages.  I don't find it as relaxing as traditional scrapping because I need to plan ahead and print the right combination of photographs in the right size and orientation to match the inserts. For me, that removes some of the spontaneity and fun.  But, once I've got that part out of the way I do enjoy choosing the bits and pieces to embellish the pages.

This is a page that I made today:

Materials
Simple Stories Sn@p Insta-page insert
Simple Stories Sn@p Studio - Everyday filler card
Blue lace trim
Washi tape

I added the digital title to my photograph before printing, using Kimberly Geswein's gorgeous You Are Loved font.

I'm sharing this page at:

* Really Reasonable Ribbon ~ Hearts theme
I love the heart-themed map marker card, and I customised it with some scalloped trim:

* Clique Kits ~ Anything Goes
* The Paper Girls ~ With Heart
* Simon Says Monday ~ Young at Heart

Did I mention how much I love the heart-themed map marker?

This is the next page in the album, a double page spread.  Click to enlarge:

I'm submitting this layout to the D-lish Scraps/Scrap Suite cyber crop for the LYRICS challenge. I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside - I thought this tune was from the 1930's or 1940's, but a little research told me it was written in 1907!

Thank you for visiting my blog!
