I adore owls so this is the direction I took with my layout, and added some leaves too. I made a simple tag from upcycled packaging.

This is my design team share for the White with 1 June challenge.

I really loved the idea of using a bow on my layout, so I raided my ribbon stash to find just the right colour.  I used some old Heidi Swapp chipboard alphabets for my title.

I was inspired by the colours. I scrapped this one onto the back of another completed page (Simple Stories patterned paper). I used a painted book page and bunch of scraps from Kaisercraft 50 Cents collection and I also included part of the quote.

Evidence: I scrapped a travel page about a quirky outback airfield. I combined some suggested elements ~ text/book page, mixed media background, numbers, stars.

This one is for my 1990's album, when we lived and worked on Hamilton Island.

I used two Tim Holtz distress inks {Chipped Sapphire and Evergreen Bough} to make my background using the "smoosh" technique. So much fun!

That messy background... and that's a much younger me in the middle of the photo, with my husband and sister-in-law. What a flashback!

Another layout using the same prompt as above.
Scene: Prompted by the aeroplane.
Evidence: Mixed media background and travel theme. I loaded it up with air travel die cut ephemera from Rosie's Studio Vacay collection.

This layout was based on the May sketch challenge at The Scrapbook Den.

Not overly happy with this one; even with a bit of adjustment to the sketch I just couldn't seem to bring it together. In hindsight it might have worked better with blue patterned paper. Anyway, done is done, and another three photos scrapped for the Cunnamulla chapter.

For me, wet media = messy.  Lack of control over the finished product is always a little bit scary, so ink sprays and splatters don't feature much on my layouts. That said, it's fun to play and challenge myself to change things up a bit.
