I'm joining in the annual AUSTRALIA DAY CROP at Scrapping Clearly - always a fabulous online event with fun, creative challenges!
Challenge 1 - Backyard Australia
I had to shuffle through some old packets of photographs to find a 'backyard' photo. This one jumped out at me, and I also knew exactly which papers to use {Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety collection}. The seed packet is real - a saved piece of ephemera from the same era.
Challenge 2 - Roadside Australia
Ohhhh... so many choices of photographs to scrap for this challenge! I went with another photo from our North Burnett road trip. Another dip into the old paper stash {K & Company Que Sera Sera - Ocean Voyage} - I adore the mix of colours in this one.
Challenge 3 - Australia on the table
I cut up an old waffle-weave tea towel for my background.
Challenge 4 - What we call it
I really loved putting this together! I chose the background paper for both the amazing outback-inspired colour and the subtle text design {Kaisercraft 365 Days - Event patterned paper}. The mixed-font title was created from stickers {Cocoa Vanilla Made of Awesome stickers - two styles in this collection - and the 'bakka' ones are unknown origin}.
Challenge 5 - Aussie Makers & Doers
I created a double layout, using 49 & Market {Colour Swatch - Eucalyptus patterned papers} and an assortment of very old stash. Hardware = Kaisercraft Loire Valley brads + Creative Impressions Fastener brads. Title = MME Front Porch - Picket Fence alphabets.
Challenge 6 - From Where I Stand
One of my favourite photos from this trip!
So thrilled to complete all the challenges!
