I really like that the illustrations do all the heavy lifting. I use paper scraps to cover unwanted text, and I love adding personal touches such as stencilling and small embellishments. For this page I used a Tim Holtz layering stencil {Mini Set #49 ~ Script} with texture paste, and a few wood veneer cogs.
