We always called beach wading birds 'sand pipers' but to be accurate, these ones are actually pied oystercatchers. Here's a close-up of the tiny sea creatures I made with cutting dies:

Challenge 3 - Summer water activities:
The criteria for this one was to use wet media on the layout. I used spray ink, and stencilled texture paste. I love the effect of the ink reactivating when texture paste is added over the top:
