Back to scrapping

Life has diverted me from my creative time over the past few months, with an extended holiday in July/August, followed by an early start to the bushfire season in September. Not a lot of "me time" at home! But I'm taking time this weekend to do some scrapping...

These ones were inspired by the Technique Talk cyber crop at Mystical Scrapbooks:

I started with the sketch to get started, and added my favourite technique - machine stitching.

Materials
DCWV Palms and Ferns paper stack
Kaisercraft Botanica diecut tag
Baker's twine
American Crafts Downtown - Green grosgrain ribbon

Next, a layout using PAPER WEAVING... not a new technique, but one I can't remember trying on a layout before.  Kind of fun, and I love the texture and dimension that it adds:

Materials
DCWV Palms and Ferns paper stack
Kaisercraft Botanica - Air patterned paper
Kaisercraft Botanica diecut tags
Baker's twine

  1. I first want to apologize for taking so long to comment. I have been on holidays and I love looking at everyone's entries so I told the design team that I would respond to my quota of entries once I returned. Loving your layouts. Thank you for showing us your patterned papers at Crafty Hazel Nut's Patterned Paper Monthly Challenge - Myrna DT
