After looking at the gorgeous DT layouts, I assume that is the American meaning of 'holiday' i.e. 'annual celebration/observation' such as Easter/Christmas/Halloween etc {and not the English meaning of 'holiday' i.e. vacation/time off}.
For me... it's definitely Christmas, and it's always a very low-key and casual affair. Last year I made a special effort to get myself in a photograph (!)
