A few years back, I customised a cheap little tank top for my daughter, by adding some handmade flowers made from fabric scraps. She wore that top everywhere until she outgrew it! The top has since been handed down to a friend's little girl.
For my layout, I took inspiration from the handmade flowers.
I embellished using flowers which I hand-cut from paper scraps. I also punched out a few daisies, and stretched out every last skerrick of those papers! AND couldn't resist adding a little scrap of lace from my sewing box too.

This is such a delightful page & truly reflects on the top you decided to use! I adore those flowes [& good on you with the fussy cutting] & I really, really love that touch of lace. Thanks for sharing with us at K+ this month:):)
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea for creating an 'original' top. Lovely layout, great use of scraps with the fussy-cut flowers. Thanks for joining us over @ K+
