Nessun Dorma

"None shall sleep"... what a great slogan for a coffee outlet.  Probably not what Puccini had in mind, but I do love it!

This layout was inspired by:
* LESSology ~ Mug Shot.  I used the corrugated coffee mug wrapper as my title card (you can see the cup in the photo).
* Scrap Africa ~ Sketch #76.  I followed the basic sketch fairly closely, with two portrait format photos, grounded by strips of paper and trim.
* Off the Rails Scrapbooking ~ July mood board.  I chose the pastels.
* Creative Artiste ~ Anything Goes.  I enjoyed playing around with a mixed media background for this one, a bit of gesso, a bit of texture paste and my trusty piece of pizza mesh, which I use as a stamp and as a stencil.

02/09/2016 EDIT TO ADD:  Thrilled to be a winner at LESSology!

Materials
Kaisercolour Spearmint acrylic paint
Kaisercolour Dusty Pink acrylic paint
American Crafts/Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party - Grand Garland patterned paper

  3. Your layout is very cool indeed! So many good ideas. I love how you repeated the colours from the photo in your mixed media background, with the pop of light yellow from the cup holder. I can sense the feel of the street in the photo, and what a cool name for a coffee roastery! Also lobe that your favourite stamp/stencil is that pizza mesh. I, too, love stamping and stenciling with stuff I find at home. Thank you for joining us at Scrap Africa!
