A card, and it's pink...

I've had occasion to send a few cards in the past few months ~ for birthdays, thank you's and farewell gifts.  So it's time to make a few more to have on hand "just in case".

There's a card challenge at Kaisercraft this month... the perfect incentive!  I took inspiration from the mood board and made a feminine card with soft pinks and creams, lace and pearls:

I omitted a sentiment so I can use the card for whatever occasion arises.

I'm also sharing my card at Frilly and Funkie for the Opposites Attract challenge.  Card making is always a departure from my comfort zone; my ratio of scrapbook layouts to cards is something in the order of 98:2 (last year I made 300+ layouts and only 6 cards).  Shabby chic is a style that I attempt only occasionally.

Simon Says Stamp - Work it Wednesday has a FLOWERS theme this month too, so my little card is getting shared around a bit!
