I'm joining in at the new
More Than Words mini challenge, with the word prompt,
MAGIC. I made a tag:
I still find it hard to create on such a tiny canvas, but I'm enjoying it more and more. I especially love finding little bits and bobs to include as embellishments. I started with a base of corrugated card, then built some simple layers. To tie it all together I painted over everything with a light coat of tinted glaze... magic!
Materials
Making Memories Scrapbook Colors - Rose Pink specialty glaze
EK Success Whale of a Punch - Retro Flower punch
Baker's twine
Prairie Bird Boutique wrinkled ribbon
Twill ribbon

I used my tag on a layout:
This one was inspired by the colours in the
Funky Flair Studio challenge: pink and pistachio. I used a flair from the
Green Trio. It was a bit too bright (and not really 'pistachio') so I toned down the colour with gesso, and used it as a date marker:
I'm sharing my layout at
Clique Kits for the
Anything Goes challenge.
Materials
American Crafts/Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party - Grand Garland patterned paper
