Something for Jess

... well, kind of.  I've been meaning to make a feeding calendar to put on the fridge, and I finally did it:

I was inspired by the August challenge at Kraft Plus... using a kraft background and zentangling.   I thought this would be a fun project to practise hand lettering.  I'm not very confident at freehand shapes, but I had a lot of fun with my black finepoint marker, glitter gel pens and coloured pencils! Here's some close-ups ~

The little arrow also has a magnet on the back, and it is moved each day after Jess has been fed.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

  1. That is such a neat idea! Love the glittery look you've got going....& your lettering is pretty darned good. 100% on mine! Love the little scalloped border you've got going there, too.....thanks sooo much for sharing with us this month at K+ :):)

  2. What a fabulous idea for a project! I love your combination of pens, very cool. Thanks for joining in the fun over @ Kraft+ this month :)

  3. Such a cool use of the criteria.

  4. What a clever entry. Great to have an 'out of the box' entry for the zentangling challenge - thanks so much for playing along!
