Lots of blue, lots of texture

13Arts has a fun Selfie challenge which I'd like to join in.  My daughter took this photograph of the two of us while we were at a cafe earlier this month.

I'm also playing at Kafe Scrapo Mama for this fun challenge:


The requirements are to use BLUE as the primary colour, and to use TEXTURE:



Blue ~ Well, as you can see... there's LOTS of blue.
Texture ~ I used textured cardstock and thick, textured watercolour paper.  It feels really nice when I touch it, but unfortunately it was really hard to photograph.  I also added some sequins for a contrasting smooth texture:

TCW Balzer Designs - Mini Art Deco Leaves 6x6 stencil
LuminArte Twinkling H2O - Majestic Blue watercolour paint
Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type alphabet letters
Gold sequins
Paper clip
