Art Journal

I played in my little art journal today.

Inspired by:

* Charms Creations ~ Art journal challenge

Not sure if I satisfied the brief correctly, however I used what I had: tissue paper from my stash, stencilling (inspired by Rachel's creations), a face {Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring diecut from Graphic 45 Renaissance Faire collection}.  I used a quote from Tracy Chevalier’s book, Girl with a Pearl Earring.

ATC Challenge - June, part 1

I'm continuing with my mission to join all of the Scrapping Clearly 2025 ATC Challenges. These are the ones I've completed in June so far.

Week 22 ~ Geometrics
This was the last challenge in May, which I didn't complete before the end of the month. I chose triangles for the geometric shape {Pink Paislee Memorandum - Memo patterned paper} and added a sentiment with Dina Wakley Collage Words.

Week 23 ~ Whimsical Creatures
I built my ATC around a cute mermaid {Miss Kate’s Cuttables}.

Week 24 ~ Celestial
I used {Kaisercraft Stargazer patterned paper}, metallic silver card {upcycled product packaging} and two star punches.

The metallic card is very shiny and pretty, but tricky to photograph from directly above - much easier to see from an angle:

ATC Challenge - May

I've been away for a few weeks and only finished three of the Scrapping Clearly 2025 ATC Challenges for May so far.

Week 19 ~ Stamp and repeat
I'm not much into stamping so this was a challenge for me. I used two different stamps {Lawn Fawn Blissful Botanicals set} with archival ink {Ranger - Jet Black} and coloured the leaves with watercolour pencils.

Week 20 ~ Abstract Shapes
I created the background with small pieces from my 'purple scraps' bag.

White with MUSIC

Today I'm sharing my layout for the White with 1 May challenge.

Here's the mood board and challenge criteria ~

Colour: On a WHITE cardstock background, use ONE colour from the image {I chose orange, and I used paper strips to mimic the sound levels in the image.}
Theme: MUSIC {Robbie Williams, headlining at Sydney NYE celebrations. My photo is a screen capture from the ABCTV live broadcast.}

Week 17 ~ Torn Paper Layers
I used up a bunch of paper scraps for this one.

Week 18 ~ Transparency
I stitched together two transparency layers {Pink Paislee Memorandum - Memorydex tab and Kaisercraft Paradise photo overlay}. I sandwiched some diecut pieces and sequins inside. Kind of shaker-box style, without much shake action...
