I'm sharing this layout at the Soul Scrappers March Mystery challenge: "Use TREES on your page. Add at least six trees to your page, make it a forest!"

I used a foliage background {Creative Imaginations Pamela Woods - Green Maple patterned paper} and I fussy-cut the trees from a title card {Pink Paislee/Paige Evans Turn the Page collection}. Very happy with my super simple page; a bit of stash-busting and letting the trees do all the heavy lifting!

2025 ATC Challenge - February

Second month in, and still playing along at the Scrapping Clearly 2025 ATC Challenge. So far, so good!

Week 6 ~ Mixed Media
I played around with layers - patterned paper, tissue paper, paint, rice paper quote {Ranger Dina Wakley - Collage Words}, distress ink, journalling pen

Week 7 ~ Brushstrokes
Four wide watercolour brushstrokes in the background.

Week 8 ~ Doodled Details
I started with an offcut piece of patterned paper {Stampin' Up Dandy Garden}, fussy cut some extra leaves and flowers, and layered them up. Then I added black pen definition to some of the layered leaves (a bit hard to see) + white Sharpie border and detail on the dandelions.

Week 9 ~ Ink Splashes
I used stamped ink {Uniquely Creative Splatter Mark stamp, with VersaColor Bark ink pad} and 'real' splatters {Seth Apter IZink - Thundercloud pigment ink}.  I received the stickers {Recollections} in a RAK prize and decided it's time to start using them!

Cyber cropping

I created these layouts for the Scrapbook Fantasies Country Style Cyber Crop:

Challenge #2: Create a project with a country-style theme.
I used a colour cut from Scrapbook Fantasies Aussie Grunge - Aussie Florals & Words set.

I used navy blue {Kaisercraft Stargazer patterned papers and Mintay Garage - Paper #6 journal cards}

Challenge #4: Create a project using lots and lots of stars.
Lots of stars on my patterned paper background {Simple Stories Hello Baby - Blue Wood (b-side)}

Challenge #5: Create a project using hexagon shapes as the feature.
I used patterned paper and fussy cut the edges of the shapes to ground the photographs {Poppy Crafts Honeycomb patterned paper}.

Challenge #6: Create a project using smooshing as a technique.
I used two inks {VersaColor Topaz and Bark} to make the background for my journal page.

White with 1 returns in 2025

Jumping into another year of creating for White With 1, and so excited by the new twist on the challenges this year.  Here is the FEBRUARY mood board ~

Select your ONE colour of your choice from the image to use on a WHITE cardstock background to create your layout using elements from the moodboard as inspiration.

February criteria: SUMMER theme

And my take on the challenge this month ~

White - My white background is canvas paper.  

With one - I loved the different blues in the mood board.  I used patterned papers and cut-aparts from Cocoa Vanilla Daydream collection and couldn't resist adding a beautiful blue flower from a pack of Pink Paislee Indigo & Ivy - Ephemera die cuts.
Summer - Nothing says 'beat the heat' like a relaxing dip!
