There are SO many quotes that I love, so it's hard to pick a favourite. This is one of my favourite travel-themed quotes, from JRR Tolkein: "Not all those who wander are lost." I think it really suits us - because we do LOTS of road-tripping in the Australian outback. Our favourite phrase (not a quote) is, "I wonder where that road goes?"... and off we go to check it out!

I have to say, most of my layout shares are places from my travels. But for this one, I included some travel-themed elements too ~ ticket, quote, and arrows. And a spot of journalling to mark the location :)

This is my design team share for the White with 1 October challenge.

I started with the soda bottle from the mood board, and went with a food theme.  My design tip:  Customise flair using word stickers to suit your page.
 


The soda bottle is a die cut ephemera piece from Vicki Boutin's Let's Wander collection, and the flair is from Fancy Pants Attwell. I added a phrase sticker from Tim Holtz Idea-ology - Small Talk booklet.

Vanuatu

This double page was inspired by the Mystery Bag challenge at Soul Scrappers - featuring a clothesline with at least 4 items. I (mostly) used papers from DCWV Watercolour collection, which I bought especially for my cruise album layouts. The smaller offcuts were perfect for making my own clothing embellishments. Also happy to stash-bust those little spiral paper clips!
