I really liked this theme.  On our trips we always stop off at roadside stalls to buy local produce! {If I win a prize I'd love the Blue and Blush 8"x8" paper collection!}

Noosa picnic

Working my way through a box of old photos, and recording my Mum's memories as we go through them. I copied and enlarged a small photo to see the details, and decided to scrap both photos. One photo - two ways.

I took inspiration from a tutorial by Paige Evans.  I used the technique of torn layered papers, bright colours and scattered die cuts. I added machine stitching to the layered edges.

ARTastic in November

ARTastic Challenge features a beautiful inspiration piece by Australian artist Emma Uber:

The challenge criteria this month is USE A PORTRAIT PHOTO.  

I chose a portrait photo taken by my grandfather - four generations of females on my mother's side of the family.  I took my inspiration from the colour palette, using green and florals.
