** Participants can sign up all year - and there's also a random element so everyone has a chance to earn points and win some scrappy prizes **

Flutterbies and fairies

This month at ARTastic Challenge we're asking you to take inspiration from this artwork by Adrian Feint.  I totally love how the green hen is running from the rooster - our chickens at home do the same thing when the rooster is feeling randy!!

The challenge criteria this month is to feature things that fly in some way.  I could have gone down the 'chicken' path (I have LOTS of chicken photographs!) but some Flutterbies photographs caught my attention instead.  I've featured fairies and 'flutterbies', and dressed them up with lots of pink paint and glitter!

Materials
Simple Stories Sn@p! Studio - Insta Pocket page
Dusty Attic Fluttterbies #1 chipboard
Words or Whatever You Amaze Me chipboard butterfly
LuminArte Twinkling H2O - Apple Blossom mica waterpaint
Derivan Kindy Glitz - Pink glitter glue

I even glittered up my punched butterflies:

I've been playing along at Scrapping Clearly today - for the 4th July American Artist cybercrop. Each of the six challenges is based on a sketch, with a basic criteria - use some Heidi Swapp products on your creation.  I didn't do the challenges in order.  Mostly I worked through my photo stash to find pics that suited each sketch.  Lots of jumping from project to project!

This one is for my cruise travel journal -
