Dragonflies

My layout was inspired by Lisa Sikorski's Scrap a Sketch ~ Take 5 September 2024, Sketch #5.
I rotated the sketch 90º anti-clockwise:

I don't make 12x12 layouts but I did start with white cardstock for this 8x8 page. I fussy-cut the dragonflies from Stampin' Up Dandy Garden patterned paper.

Girls' road trips

This layout is a travel journal page for one of my girls' day trip albums.

I was inspired by the Soul Scrappers September Mystery Bag challenge to use an AMPERSAND {American Crafts Thickers - Jewellery Box alphabets}. Those alphas are quite old, so i needed a bit of glue to hold them in place. I love stash diving to use what I have.

In the stash-diving vein, I'm also using up more of my beloved Basic Grey {Scarlet's Letter - Recognition} which is one of my all-time favourite patterned papers.

It's a bit of a filler page, scrapping one of my 'spare' scenery shots that probably wouldn't have made the cut otherwise. I'm sharing this at:
