Scrapping backwards

Something a bit different today... scrapping backwards, using up old stash, with no clue what photo/s I would use! It end up much more 'loaded up' than I thought, but I'm pretty happy with it.

This was truly a challenge! I started with the collection insert (from my Scrap Backwards February kit - Cocoa Vanilla's inaugural collection). Too pretty to throw away but too daunting to use! I had fun making a background, but really had no clue what to do with it.

* Simon Says Wednesday ~ Food and Drink
This challenge prompt pushed me towards a photo selection. I probably wouldn't have scrapped the photo like this otherwise - but I think it works.
