ARTastic in March - Monochrome

First of the month, and time for another ARTastic Challenge reveal:

To join the challenge, create a project inspired by the artwork {share the story of how you were inspired} and include the criteria.  This month the criteria is MONOCHROMATIC (any colour).  This one got me thinking!  Not about the monochromatic theme, but about what other elements to draw from the inspiration painting.

I decided to go with the darkness... so I chose some rainy day photographs, when it was overcast and a bit gloomy.  Down in the rainforest shadows...
