Quandamooka

I always enjoy the colour challenges at Scrapping Outback, and this month is a lovely combo:

WHITE + Strawberry Red/Pink + Mango/Orange
and a little Lemon/yellow

Here's my layout, which features some mosaics from the Quandamooka Jetty in Wynnum, on Brisbane's bayside:

I used two different chipboards.  I inked both with archival ink, which turned out a deeper red than I expected.  For the 'seaweed' I dabbed on some mango paint to lift the colour.  For the fish I mounted the chipboard onto patterned paper to add some definition:

I made the other little fishie embellishments myself, just cutting out some simple shapes from patterned paper scraps and outlining with black pen.

Materials
Echo Park Victoria Gardens - Delightful Doilies patterned paper
Creative Embellishments Branches chipboard
Words or Whatever Summer Mini Pack chipboard (fish)
Dew Drops Brilliance - Poppy ink
Kaisercolour Mango acrylic paint
Glitz Designs Teeny Alpha - Yellow Block letter stickers
