Sunday scrapping (Part 1)

It's been a while since I had a free Sunday to just sit and create... and so far I've done two layouts.  I've optimistically titled my post "Part 1" because I hope to have at least a "Part 2" by the end of the day!

I love the sketch at Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia this month.  This is what I created:

I've been wanting to scrap this photo of Jess for a while, and the circles in the sketch seemed a perfect match to the ball in her mouth!  I started with a bit of bubblewrap stamping for the background, and then jumped straight into my bag of green/blue paper scraps to build up the layers.

Materials
Kaisercolour Navy Blue acrylic paint
Prima E-line product packaging
Spellbinders Frameabilities - Polka Dot die cut
Core'dinations Teal Blues - Deep Lagoon cardstock
Crate Paper Shine - Cherish patterned paper
Basic Grey Serenade - Peacock patterned paper
SEI Dill Flower solid colour paper
Bazzill Basics Aruba cardstock
Fiskars 1.5" circle punch
Simple Stories Carpe Diem - Bits & Pieces die cut word piece
Bazzill Bitty Blossoms - Apple flower
Kaisercraft Sweet Pea paper flower

I adore the beautiful inspiration picture at ARTastic this month, with the challenge criteria of a COUNTRY/RURAL THEME:

I must admit, I have hundreds of photos that fit the bill for this theme! For this layout I kept it super simple, taking inspiration from the rural scenery and the muted colours:

Materials
Prima Free Spirit - Perceptions patterned paper
Upcycled atlas page
Kaisercraft Pickled Pear - Chartreuse patterned paper
Glitz Teeny Alpha - Mint Grunge letter stickers
Prima Botanical Mix - English Garden mini flowers
Flourish with a Bling Antique Gold pearls
May Arts Leaves - Olive ribbon

Thank you for visiting my blog!
