Scrapping with a flourish

What a great theme for a cyber crop!  Despite my late start, I'm doing some of the challenges at the Mystical Scrapbooks cyber crop.

This is my entry for Jane's challenge ~ use pearl flourishes on a layout:

It was a super quick layout, made easy by sketch #141 at Sketches in Thyme.
I'm also submitting at Scrap it Girl for the Selfies theme.

Materials:
FWAB Chloe - Red pearl flourish
October Afternoon Sasparilla - High Noon patterned paper
October Afternoon Sasparilla - Pony Express patterned paper
Basic Grey Sublime - Cinnamon patterned paper
Cre8tiv alphabet stickers

This is my entry for Tracy's challenge - use two different flourishes, and one must be handmade:

1> Stamped flourish frame (I can't remember the last time I used this stamp set!)
2> I made my own flourish by embossing a piece of cardstock and fussy-cutting the flourish motif. Then I inked the embossed design to make it stand out, and used it as an embellishment.

I also created this layout with the LESSology Ribbon Fantasy challenge in mind.  I used recycled corrugated cardboard to mat the photograph for this layout - it's one of my go-to materials.  It's zero-cost, and it always adds the right amount of texture or dimension.  As for the ribbons ~ I have a huge stash of dyed seam-binding ribbon, and I thought it would be perfect for the vintage-y feel of the photograph.

Materials:

Kaisercraft Lil Primrose - Fancy Dress patterned paper
Prairie Bird Boutique wrinkled ribbon
Prima Iron Orchid Designs - Build-a-Frame Collection 1 stamp
Stazon Timber ink
Provocraft Cuttlebug - Victoria embossing folder

21/04/2015 EDIT TO ADD:  My layout was selected in the Top 3 at LESSology:

This is my entry for Donna's challenge ~ use a chipboard flourish:

I painted and heat embossed the chipboard to give it some shine.

I'm also entering this layout at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, for their Anything Goes theme.

Materials:
Becky Higgins Project Life - Jade Collection patterned paper
RW Laser Cuts Scroll Corners 3 chipboard flourish
Kaisercolour White acrylic paint
Clear embossing powder
Bazzill Basics cardstock offcuts
Spiral paper clip from my stationery supplies
Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type alphabet stickers
Cotton thread
