Beach babes

I loved putting this layout together... another new favourite:



I was inspired by the March mood board at Sassy Scrappers, especially the soft coral tones:

I used the March sketch from Blue Fern Studios.  {BFS products used: Blue Fern Garden - Boudoir patterned paper and Bohemian Flowers chipboard.}

I tried to soften the edges of the patterned papers by applying some smudges of gesso with a sponge wedge ~ not sure how I feel about the result but it was fun trying.  I added some gold with a smattering of sequins for Cuttin' and Stampin':



I'm also submitting my layout at Scrap it Girl for their Selfies theme.  {Full credit to J-girl for the selfie photograph. She's the expert!}
