• Use a curve - LOTS of curves in the clouds, waves, twine
• Technique - Distressing.  I distressed the patternd papers that I used for waves
• Product - Flair. I used a CE flair button that I've had in my stash for a long time

I recently came across a box of old family photographs, which I've been scanning and reprinting for scrapbooking. My mother has been able to provide details about some of the photographs.

Basic Grey Ambrosia - Winsome patterned paper (fussy cut butterfly)
Kaisercolour Navy Blue acrylic paint
Kaisercolour Tropical Water acrylic paint
Japanese cotton fabric

My Memories Butterfly punch

• Use fabric - I used some fabric scraps from my habby stash, and made some fabric flowers.
• Technique - Sponging - Paint  I sponged acrylic paints through a stencil to create my background.
• Product - Lace.  I made some lace flowers.

My title was inspired by the Soul Scrappers One Word Title challenge ~ Create a shadow on your title. I created my shadow by cutting the title twice, and overlaying it with a slight offset.

ARTastic in May

ARTastic Challenge has another fantastic challenge this month.  The art inspiration is this wonderful piece by Jill Foster:

The challenge criteria this month is GIRLS ONLY with CIRCLES.

I purged my scraps box for this layout! I punched a bunch of circles and glued them down in overlapping rows to create my background. Photo is from a girls weekend away with my daughter:
